As we move into this fast-paced year, I thought I would share some tips for making a powerful Vision Board. Many of you make them, however it is crucial to be aligned with your Higher Spirit before you begin this process. This is one of the reasons I run my VISION Workshop, because I feel it is imperative to release the old baggage and limiting ideas before you can re-connect with the highest possible vibration for bringing in the new. As someone once said, “You cannot outperform your own self image.”
Tips for making a Powerful Vision Board:
- Before you start your board, take 5 minutes to light a candle, breathe deeply and connect to your higher wisdom.
- Use colored pictures. The imagination responds much more quickly to color.
- Use images that express what you really want, not what you think you should have. When you choose from “should’s” there is a lack of connection and the energy level goes down. The more excited you are about your goals, the faster they manifest.
- Leave space on your collage for new things to come in. If you clutter your collage, you will get cluttered results. The imagination takes you seriously.
- Add play money or a check to your Vision Board. By placing money on your board you affirm that you want to receive without any burden or debt to you.
- Keep your board where you can look at it every day. You might even take a picture of it and carry it with you.
- Make time every day to focus on your vision. Even 5 minutes a day will help empower and strengthen your vision. Imagine you have everything you want and need RIGHT NOW. Use all of your senses…smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing.
- Get a support network. You need people who can hold the vision that you are moving towards. It is helpful to have people in your life who can see your potential and have your best interest in mind.
- Dare to dream big!
